Mission Education
Education is a powerful tool in overcoming poverty. However, rural societies lacking significant educational infrastructure could face several unique problems: rural access, gender inequalities, and child labor among others. These issues need similarly unconventional solutions.
Aahwahan Foundation is committed to knowledge-sharing between skilled professionals and poor students in rural India. We mentor and reskill local communities as teachers, thereby tapping the local resource while reducing the unemployment gap in rural areas. Our long-term focus is on increasing literacy and empowering girls to complete their education.

Promoting Extraordinary Talent in Underprivileged Students
Children from backward communities often do not have access to quality education. We are collaborating with the school system to encourage children to actively participate in extracurricular activities. Our focus is on all-inclusive development and supports the children to become responsible citizens of tomorrow

Our Community
Community development is at the heart of all our efforts. Aahwahan Foundation is rooted in the belief that all individuals should have access to quality health, wellbeing, sanitation, employment, wealth, justice, and opportunity. We strongly believe in the holistic approach to development. In other words, our socio-economic initiatives cover an entire village, group or area. Through sustained long-term initiatives, we transform the economic health of the specific community. The focus of development in the model village would cover various functions, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, water & sanitation, skill training, integrated agriculture, fisheries, yoga center, etc.

MOBILE MEDICAL VAN FOR RURAL INDIA
It is our latest service for rural healthcare. Each mobile van would comprise of a driver, a nurse, and a doctor. The mobile van would visit one village per day and provide Outpatient Physical Therapy to patients in inaccessible rural areas. The schedule would be shared in advance with the villagers for better coordination. Through this innovative program, Aahwahan Foundation aims to bridge the gap between the acute shortage of medical care and service delivery in rural areas.
