Keeping in the ever increasing number of road accidents and fatalities, a road safety awareness program was conducted by the Aahwahan foundation to inform citizens about the importance of following traffic rules and taking safety measures. Volunteers of the foundation gathered with slogans and posters to spread the word. Additionally, a short skit was also conducted to make the awareness program more impactful and demonstrative. The awareness program highlighted the importance of wearing helmets while driving and following the speed limit. Further, the dangers of drinking and driving were also brought to light. The programme elaborately presented the key points of road safety thus making pedestrians and commuters more informed and aware.
