GO GREEN BHARAT CHALLENGE
Aahwahan Foundation is a grass-roots
NGO committed to the enfranchisement of individuals from marginalized segments
of society. Education, Health, Environment, Women Empowerment, and Community Development
are the five sectors in which Aahwahan Foundation works, all of which are
meticulously structured to ensure the best possible outcome. Aahwahan has
always shown a keen interest in environmental events in order to create a more
sustainable environment. To honour the commitments, Aahwahan Foundation has
come up with the tree plantation drives. Aahwahan as a flag bearer of this beautiful
initiative called ‘GO GREEN REVOLUTION’ has planted more than 18,56,825 (1.8
Million) plants till date spreading the green revolution wherever we went, not
only making societies better but at the same time making this planet rich by
one tree at a time.
As we all know,
our country was hit hard by the deadly virus during the second wave of covid,
and the entire country was in a panic, with the public, health workers, and
everyone else scrambling for health services and supplements. There were oxygen
shortages all around nation, and many innocent people were lost as a result of
this. As a response of this, Aahwahan Foundation has initiated the GO GREEN
BHARAT CHALLENGE to plant one million trees by the end of 2021, after
acknowledging the difficulties faced during the pandemic due to oxygen shortage
and following many conversations. In addition to our existing green tree plantation campaign, which has resulted in the completion of 1.8 million
plantations, this GO GREEN REVOLUTION CHALLENGE will aid in the quickening of
the plantation process in order to meet our 1 million target by the end of 2021.
With the support of the general public, the organization, together with its 13
thousand volunteers, students of 168 government schools, 8 universities, media
support and with the support of youngsters, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, has
taken up this endeavor to rebuild a safe and better environment. Furthermore,
for individuals who are unable to plant a tree, the organization offers the
option of donating 99 rupees, and the organization would conduct the tree
plantation on their behalf.
We anticipate that everyone who reads this
will be generous enough to contribute for at least one tree to heal the earth
and make the world greener. Please understand that it is still not too late for
us to save our planet and improve our living standards. Let us all join hands
to attain this mission, which will aid us in the reduction of pollution,
erosion, and other challenges. Let us preserve the trees that provide food,
shelter, and food to a range of diverse living beings by joining hands together
for a more greener and healthier planet.
