Mission Education

Education is a powerful tool in overcoming poverty. However, rural societies lacking significant educational infrastructure could face several unique problems: rural access, gender inequalities, and child labor among others. These issues need similarly unconventional solutions.

Aahwahan Foundation is committed to knowledge-sharing between skilled professionals and poor students in rural India. We mentor and reskill local communities as teachers, thereby tapping the local resource while reducing the unemployment gap in rural areas. Our long-term focus is on increasing literacy and empowering girls to complete their education.

                                                                                                                            Right to Education

Education is fundamental to sustainable long-term growth. Often, a child needs a supporting hand and encouragement to tap the hidden potential. Aahwahan Foundation aims to expand the boundary and not look at education from only a perspective of literacy and rudimentary skills. A holistic approach to education that would enable children to tap their complete potential. Promoting education for the girl child, creating awareness of education among rural communities, and preserving the unique culture of rural communities are some of the key objectives that we strive to achieve. Through our programs such as computer institute on wheels and computer center, we aim to provide access to quality technical education to rural students.

Promoting Extraordinary Talent in Underprivileged Students

The focus of development in the model village would cover various functions, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, water & sanitation, skill training, integrated agriculture, fisheries, yoga center, etc.

An NGO Empowering Women & Girls of India

The empowerment & autonomy of women and the enhancement of their social, health, political, and economic conditions is an extremely vital end in itself. It is the framework for the achievement of sustainable development. The power equations that obstruct women’s realization of healthy and fulfilling lives function across different levels of society vary from very personal to the highly public. Accomplishing transformation needs policy and program initiatives that would enhance women’s access to secure livelihoods & economic resources, lessen their extreme responsibilities with regard to housework, eradicate legal obstacles to their participation in public life, and increase social awareness through effective programs of education and mass communication. Women Empowerment is a necessary thing to develop the nation
